1999 copper, Cu copper, Cu I 7400 04 - 031 Novel Sandwiched Intermetallic Selenoantimonates: Soft Synthesis and Characterization of Cu 2 SbSe 3 ·0.5en and Cu 2 SbSe 3 ·en. Single crystals of the novel two-dimensional intermetallic copper selenoantimonates (V) and (VII) are obtained by soft solvothermal reactions. Both compounds crystallize in the monoclinic system, space group P2 1 /n with Z = 4 for (V) and space group Pn with Z = 2 for (VII). The structures consist of Cu 2 SbSe 3 layers separated by free ethylenediamine layers. The intermetallic layers are very similar in the two structures, but the solvent orientations are different.
