detergent in water to release a kind of ion which has a sectionthat likes water (hydrophilic) so that it can dissolve in waterand the part that does not like going to water (hydrophobic)so soluble in oil or fat. When clothes are washed with detergent contained fat dirtthen the hydrophobic ion into the grain and the fat or oil,

which is hidrofolik ions will lead to solvent water. This causesthe oil droplets will repel each other due to a similarcharge. As a result, dirt fats and oils that have been releasedclothing can not be united again and remain in solution.
