Chelmsford Safety Supplies Ltd is a family run company with over 35
years’ experience supplying PPE, personalized corporate clothing, and
workplace safety and janitorial supplies to Council’s and to the general UK
industry, including supplying companies like Aldi, Cadburys, Volkswagen,
Porsche, Police Forces and BAE Systems.
The company pride themselves on excellent service and the fact they
hold large stocks of all PPE related items.

In June 2016, Chelmsford Safety Supplies signed up to use sales-i and the company hasn’t looked back since. The first thing Adrian was impressed with was how easy it is to track sales and what was and wasn’t being sold. As Adrian puts it “we were impressed with being able to really measure what we do, you can’t tell much until you measure things”.
Adrian states that the biggest benefits that sales-i gives Chelmsford Safety Supplies are through the Campaigns and Targets modules.
Campaigns allows you to set proactive alerts e.g. when a customer has spent more or less in a particular month, stopped buying all together or isn’t buying an obvious cross sell or create a priority call list based on set criteria like the above, allowing you to save time trawling through spreadsheets or your data base, giving more time to sell.
Targets has allowed Adrian and the sales team to “set high but achievable targets in confidence” as Adrian explains “when we sat down this January to set targets for the year we did this over two sittings. This way the team could use sales-i to see their agenda on day one and come back the next day with their own ideas on targets.”

Moving forward, Adrian plans to use sales-i even more and so is expanding the software’s knowledge across the team. “Another member of our sales team, Emily, has just gone on a sales-i training course and it was worth every penny, as a result, the parts of sales-i we were not using are now starting to be
used.”
