Based in Atlanta, Chef Courtney is a talented and passionate culinary professional with a firm belief in customizing menus to suit each client’s palate, creatively using seasonal and organic ingredients. As a personal chef, Courtney has built an impressive resume in just a few short years, preparing a variety of diets and cuisines for actors Katherine Heigl and Ben Stiller, comedian Tony Rock, HGTV’s Design Wars, the Real Housewives of Atlanta, InStyle Magazine, The Vampire Diaries and Whitney Houston. Before carving her niche in the entertainment industry, she developed a strong background in catering, for both small and large events, from years of experience at Turner Field and Bold American Catering Company. Chef Courtney has catered R& B singer Usher’s Wedding ceremony, the Atlanta launch of Ultimat Vodka and the Superbowl. With the same charm and personality that made her a star in every position she held before launching her own business, Chef Courtney also hosts interactive chef demonstrations for individuals, special events and local green markets. By combining a wealth of culinary experience, passion for food, an innovative approach and vast food knowledge honed at the Art Institute of Atlanta – Chef Courtney successfully combines her roots in Southern cooking from North Carolina with her love of diverse flavor profiles. Whenever she’s not in the kitchen, you will most likely find this down to earth chef playing with her dogs, listening to music from almost any and every genre or quite naturally – thumbing through a cookbook. Courtney also has a strong desire to continue advancing her level of community involvement and philanthropy – especially with the Humane Society and Not for Sale Campaign – as well as being a positive role model and mentor to young chefs. “Cooking is like love.
