PREPARATION FOR LOADING:Cargo will be loaded using vapor return, discharged under nitrogen blanketYesNo
Cargo tanks and piping system must be purged with nitrogen to an oxygen content of less than 0.5 % (5,000 ppm) oxygen before loading is commenced. For some shipments (Dow Polyurethane business), the vapor space of cargo tanks are purged to less than 0.05% (500 ppm) oxygen before the ship departs. It is recommended to add nitrogen through the liquid line (nitrogen bubbling) to stabilize pressure during the voyage.YesNo
