an Android device.

-I recently bought one that works with my derv and the Torque app (Android).

It also has a power button so doesn't need to be removed

- Why not this one is great over others are you can just leave it plugged in hidden away and turn

it on when required.

One without an on/off button would require removal not to drain the battery as the obd port has

constant power.

- +1 for the switched version. It's much more convenient (just leave it in place) and will not drain

you battery. Plus its always there when you need it and you're less likely to loose it

-I got one of these and its by far the best bit of china kit i have ever paid for,, it will encode

injectors it will read eml abs airbag srs and reset lights service indicator on prettymuch anything,,

my wifes pug it even regens dpf,, they say it coves 54000 cars,, little heads up its really a delphi..

go research genuine delphi 2-7k depending on updates, the updates are just new vehicles, so this

cover anything up to 2014.. had a golf pd fuel fault other day been in to 3 garages with no power

no one could work out issue, used this software on it told me injector pressure's and primary

pump voltages etc , number 4.

we have genuine deplhi at work cost with updates £7000,, i bought this form china had the P

taken out of me from work mates for paying a china company £103 with trucks cars and bike with

all leads,,,, when it arrived we put 2 cars with dealer only faults, and done a read with my cheap

version of delphi and the garage 7k genuine delphi and the cheapo version does exactly the same

job,, can read anything can do live data on the fly..ie while driving car... autocom hmmmm no its

a proper delphi platform and like you said is by far the best software for repairing cars,, these

cheap little hand held code readers are only readers,, where autocom is a repair platform,, dont

know about you but have you had jobs where a number of garages have try'd repairing a fault

and could not get to bottom of it,, i do a far amount of these just because this system is so good...

every sensor in over 54.000 cars it reads and gives a value reading, not had a car yet that has

beaten me with this its that good..

- Took a slight chance and ordered a different model

2 really good tips install it on a laptop with no internet connection and no anti virus programs,,,

reason is its a keygen'd software and this gets reconised by anti virus and it steals the install

patch and then wont work until you re install it all again. it might take you a few attempts to

install it all its a bit involved, copy and past a patch in to program folder and them copy and past

saved keygen to program... there is a video on how to install it all when it arrives.

it will read codes and reset them also you should also display where the fault is ie

which airbag circuit,, cant remember if honda's reset them selves where a lose connection is the

problem or not some cars do some dont. but straight up this is by far the best bit of kit for

working on modern cars second to none.
