FABRIC REQUIREMENTS1 Chatterbox Aprons Fat Quarter Bundle (FQ-5460-18)1½ yards (1.4 m) white main (C5460 White)5/8 yard (60 cm) blue diamond (C5465 Blue)2 yards (1.85 m) cloud solid (C120 Cloud)Binding 5/8 yard (60 cm)

CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Fat Quarter BundleCut 4 squares 47/8" x 47/8" and 10 squares 2½" x 2½" from each of the following assorted prints. Cut the 47/8" squares once diagonally to create large triangles.

blue main, green main, white main, blue floral green floral, yellow floral, red daisy, yellow daisy blue gingham, green gingham, red gingham red diamond, yellow diamond

Cut 2 squares 47/8" x 47/8" and 5 squares 2½" x 2½" from each of the following assorted prints. Cut the 47/8" squares once diagonally to create large triangles.

blue plaid, green plaid, yellow plaid, green daisy

White MainCut 7 strips 6½" x WOF for Border.

Blue DiamondCut 5 strips 3" x WOF. Cut the strips into 60 squares 3" x 3".

Cloud SolidCut 8 strips 2½" x WOF. Cut the strips into 120 squares

2½" x 2½".Cut 9 strips 27/8" x 27/8". Cut the strips into 120 squares

27/8" x 27/8". Cut each square once diagonally to create 240 small triangles.

Cut 5 strips 3" x WOF. Cut the strips into 60 squares 3" x 3".

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to the quilt photo for placement of fabrics as each block is different.

Chatter BlockDraw a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the cloud solid 3" squares. Place a cloud solid 3" square on top of a blue diamond 3" square. Sew ¼" on each side of the line. Cut on the line to make 2 Half Square Triangles. Press. Repeat to make 120 Half Square Triangles. Square up the Half Square Triangles to 2½".

Sew 2 small cloud solid triangles to a Half Square Triangle to create Unit A. Repeat to make 120 Unit As.

These instructions are to make 1 block. Sew a large assorted print triangle to a Unit A to create Unit B. Repeat to create 4 Unit Bs.

Sew an assorted print 2½" square and a cloud solid 2½" square together to create Unit C. Repeat to create 4 Unit Cs.

Sew 2 Unit Bs and 1 Unit C together to create Unit D. Repeat to create 2 Unit Ds.

Sew 2 Unit Bs and 1 assorted print 2½" square together to create Unit E.

Sew the 2 Unit Ds and Unit E together to create the Chatter Block. Repeat to make 30 Chatter Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the Quilt Center Diagram for block placement. Lay out the Chatter Blocks in 6 rows of 5 blocks. Sew the rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BorderSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Side borders should be 60½". Top and bottom borders should be 62½".

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Penny Rose fabric from the Chatterbox Aprons Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
