CATCH IT

Germs spread easily. Always carry tissues and use them to catch your cough or sneeze.

BIN IT

Germs can live for sev-eral hours on tissues. Dispose of your tissue as soon as possible.

KILL IT

Hands can transfer germs to every surface you touch. Clean your hands as soon as you can.

Please continue to collect your

Coles Vouchers. If you could please

keep them over the holidays and

bring them in to our school office

next term. Thank you.

If you could

Next Semester, Stage 3 will be participating in Murder

under the Microscope. In Murder under the Microscope,

students are presented with an eco-crime they must in-

vestigate. Working as a team, students study the issues

and crime sites, research the victims and villains and use

the clues provided by Catchment Headquarters (online

site) to try to solve the mystery. This is a highly engaging

way for out students to learn about science and the envi-

ronment while developing their team work skills. To learn

more go to http:/www.microscope.edu.au/

Mrs Goldie Stage 3 Teacher

Our Debating Team Milly Ryan, Teagan Phillips, Mikaylee

Term 2 has come and gone very quickly! I have been pleased

with the high standard of work which as been produced

throughout the Stage.

The students have been engaged in a wide variety of activities

and I congratulate them on their achievements. They have tak-

en part in many sporting activities such as the Athletics Carnival,

sport with Chatham High School, PSSA competitions and Gala

Days. The students enjoyed our trip on the “Tin Hare” and they

presented some great items at Monday Assemblies.

Once again, I am very pleased with the high number of Stage 2

students who do the right thing and are always in FULL School

Uniform.

In Term 3, the students will be working on the COGS Unit,

“Living in Communities”. Obviously, they will also be keeping

up to date with events from London and learning about the

Olympic Games.

Half yearly reports were sent home this week except for 3/4H

which will be next term. Please remember to make an appoint-

ment with your child’s teacher if you need to talk about any

aspect of the report or your child’s schooling. I would like

take this opportunity to thank Miss North, Mrs Gay, Ms Hardy,

Mr McKenzie, Mr Copp and Miss Morris for their help and

also please ensure that all of your child’s school

inside of the collar for jumpers or inside the waist

band for pants is a good place).
