IHE Server Components Project

The mission of the IHE Server Components Project is to establish a vibrant open source community geared toward the development of IHE Server Components profiles and

transactions.

• Misys OSS is committed to OS’ing new/existing assets

• Plug into an existing ecosystem

• Coordinate with the IHE Profiles project

• Cocreating opportunities with other OHT projects

Scope & Expected Contributions

• Initial contribution includes PIX/PDQ, ATNA, and eMPI development from:– Misys, plc– The California Healthcare Foundation

• The OpenPIXPDQ (Patient Identifier Cross-referencing, Patient Demographics Query) is a server side implementation of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) PIX and PDQ profiles and transactions

– PIX Manager including transactions such as PIX Feed, PIX Query and PIX Update Notification. – PDQ Supplier including the PIX Query transaction

• The ATNA (Audit Trail Node Authentication) transactions specific to PIX/PDQ will be implemented

– Providing secure PIX/PDQ transactions– Audit Trail Client

• The eMPI (enterprise Master Person Index) will provide the PIX Manger and PDQ supplier with:– Underlying patient matching algorithms– Patient data manipulation API for adding/updating/merging patients– The eMPI will be a pluggable component allowing clients to use any eMPI they like.

• Transfer existing source code and documentation, and contribute all future source code and documentation for these components to the IHE Server Components Project at OHT

• No known potential IP issues.
