The holidays are over and we are trying to keep our New Year's Resolutions. As a trainer I notice the same trend happening each year. You dedicate yourself to the gym right after the holidays with hopes and dreams of losing weight and looking great. Yet, how often do you stick to your workout regimen or continue that diet months after January 1st? So why not make this year different? Isn’t it time you take care of yourself? Your family and friends depend on you, so why not strive to become healthier in order to be here longer for them? Instead of making a resolution to lose weight, transform your goals and prioritize your health across the entire spectrum. So as you sit there at your kitchen table drinking your coffee and eating your muffin while reading this article, think about how you feel during the day. Are you tired, grumpy, unsatisfied with your body image and depressed? Treat your body like a machine. In order to function proficiently, feed it nutrient dense foods and keep your muscles strong and durable. You deserve to be that person who achieves their resolution, so why not make every effort to make this year a true reality?
