“Topper Time”

What is “Topper Time” ?

● Topper Time is an Intervention/Acceleration period. Students will have the ability to attend academic intervention labs in every content area. Students will also have the ability to sign up for labs based upon the unique course offerings of individual teachers.

● Will run on Monday, Tuesday, & Friday ● 30 minute period between 3rd and 4th period

Students may be assigned to an intervention Topper Time based upon student, teacher, counselor, or parent recommendation.

What if I don’t agree with a teacher’s recommendation??

• Once this recommendation is entered you have two ways to change it:

1. discuss with the teacher and if he/she is comfortable with the change, he/she will change or

2. complete an “override form” which is available in guidance
