Lead Female• Our leading female character has been influenced by fairy tale characters

and their costumes, such as Little Red Riding Hood and Alice in Wonderland. Here is one costume idea that we

may use, influenced in particular by Little Red Riding Hood. We will cast a teenage girl between the ages of 16-18 to play the role of the female character, in order for our audience to identify with her.

Costume References• Here is another costume that we may use, inspired particularly by Ofelia’s

costume in Pan’s Labyrinth and the illustrations of Alice from Alice in Wonderland by John Tenniel.

John Tenniel’s illustrations• In 1865 Tenniel, after long talks with Carroll, illustrated the first edition of

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.• Tenniel drew ninety-two drawings for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in

Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There.• Tenniel’s illustrations have

Influenced our character Costume through the simpleBlack and white pinaforeAnd bow accessories to Symbolise her youthful Innocence and naivety.

Male character• The male character appears very little in our music video, but his character

symbolises mystery and is the key to guiding our female character through her journey. The masquerade mask

suggests a facade and sense of false pretence, and also shows that the music video is focusing on the female

character and her journey, not the male character.
