Introduction
I am a 6th grade teacher of a self-contained classroom. We are using an Elements of Literature book in which we are studying Unforgettable Personalities in short stories.
Students will be able to identify various traits that a character in a story has and how those traits affect the outcome of the story.

Lesson Plan
First, students will work on the computer to identify their own personality traits using a self-assessment test.
Students will next partner share to complete a Venn diagram and discuss similarities and differences they possess.
Students will identify which character traits all heroes in the stories possess.
Students will present to the class a discussion of one character, their personality traits, and how they affect the outcome of a story.

Expectations
I looked forward to working and completing this CTAP class in the given amount of time, but found that I needed to study the manual at home.
I expected the CTAP material to be more user friendly and not change so frequently especially toward the end of the semester.
I expected to involve my students in the learning process earlier in the semester.

Drawbacks
Many times I felt that I would have liked to have worked on another topic.
The CTAP web sight was extremely difficult to access which made it hard to work at my convenience.

Results
I have learned from this CTAP class. First, I have learned how to use Transmit,
a software program designed to upload and download web pages. Secondly, I have done lots of work developing a web page that I hope to share with other teachers.
Lastly, I learned how to successfully integrate this into my own classroom.

Summary of Revisions
After talking to my students, we decided I needed a picture of Maya Angelou’s brother, Bailey. They also suggested doing the people worksheet with other partners.Their best suggestion was for us to do a dramatizations of the hero they chose.
