Acting Out6 Volunteers
Each of you will be given a “characteristic” of positive mental and emotional health.
Either on your own, or with the help of 1 or 2 classmates, act out the characteristic.
The class will guess.

Signs of Good Mental/Emotional Health Activity:
(1) Each table will get an envelope with the 6 characteristics and 12 specific behaviors
(2) As a group discuss each behavior and decide which characteristic it would best fit under – place it under the characteristic heading
(3) After you have categorized them, record them on your information chart
(4) Use a (+) if it is a behavior you engage in the majority of the time. Use a (–) if it is a behavior you rarely engage in. Use a (+/- ) if you engage in the behavior about half the time.
