• Provision of Article 88 of Industrial Act

• Employer must take necessary precautions to protect employees from injury and dangers by-

• (a)Making sure adequate safety and hygienic conditions exist in all over the place of work

• (b)Making sure that places of work are always clean and they comply with healthy and comfortable conditions.

• Making sure that machinery, equipment are installed and maintained in the safest possible way.

• The employer is not allowed to impose on his workers or deduct from their wages any amount to meet such provisions of protection.

• (a)Adequate toilet facilities to be provided.

• (b)Interior of building to be heated and ventilated.

• Fire escapes should be present.
