INVESTIGATION LITERATURE
2.1 INTRODUCTION
To complete our project, investigation literature must be done to ensure the project done
successfully. Investigation include the problem faced the good and bad, and improvement of the
project.
Specifically for this project, an in-depth study on renewable power energy that the
present was done namely on its function to generate electricity.

2.3 IMPORTANCE OF INVESTIGATION ( kenapa pen!n" n#a nk $e%!&!k 'en&e n!
Importance of research is to )now the different with the renewable power energy, its have so
many of different between the wind turbine system and the solar sytem.
Installing a wind turbine is a bit more involved than installing solar panels, but they are still
relatively easy to incorporate into our alternative energy system. The turbine needs to be
mounted in an area free from obstructions to wind flow nearby buildings, trees, etc.!.
*s a general rule however, the higher in the air you can get your wind turbine the more effective
it will be, so independent, guyed towers are the recommended mounting system. The wide
variety of available tower heights and styles ma)es it much more li)ely you will find a mounting
)it to suit your needs.
'hen installing the controls and wiring of a wind turbine system , it is important to understand
two fundamental differences between wind turbines and solar panels+
C))en Re*!+!e)$+ Solar panels produce direct current ! electricity reuired by power
storage batteries, and can be connected directly to the battery ban) without causing harm. 'ind
turbine system do not produce electricity, so a device called a /recitifier/ is used to convert
the turbine0s output current to . . In most cases though, the rectifier is supplied as a separate
component that must be installed between the wind turbine and the battery. 1ften, the rectifier is
combined with a charge controller into one complete wind turbine control unit.
L,a& D!-e)$!,n+ Solar panels are /passive/ electricity producers. 2ven though the sun is
shining, they only produce eletricity when a charge is needed by the battery. 'ind turbine
system are /active/ electricity producers. If the wind is blowing, they will produce current
whether the battery ban) needs the charge or not. In order to prevent damage to the wind turbine,
all of the electricity it produces must be /used/ in some way.
