SIP Parameters for Hunt Groups and Voice Mail
4SIP data for users and hunt groups is broadcast across the SCN.
4For simplicity purposes, it is sufficient to have only one Incoming Call Route for SIP lines that use internal data with ‘.’destination.
4Default values for SIP Name and Contact on SIP data tab are based on user and hunt groups extension numbers. Default value for SIP Display Name is based on user/hunt group name.
4SIP data can be specified on the Voice Mail tab when Voice Mail is Preferred Edition (formerly VoiceMail Pro), Centralized or Distributed. This data will be used when Voice Mail is making calls using a SIP line. Voice Mail will use SIP parameters specified on the switch that is making the SIP call.

SIP Session Timers
4If the other side requires session timers, IP Office will perform SIP session level ping in accordance with RFC4028.
4This is used to check whether the session is still alive and to detect breakages.
4Added support for SIP method UPDATE. IP Office detects whether the other side supports update dynamically.
