Marston is a little hamlet which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in North Herefordshire. It is just two miles away from the popular village of Pembridge which is on the black and white village trail. Adjoining the cottage is a timber barn which has huge potential for various uses. The property stands in mature cottage style gardens. The main sitting room has plenty of natural sunlight. A focal point is the fireplace with a wood burner set on a tiled hearth. The formal dining room has exposed wall and ceiling timbers and a special feature are leaded windows which are set in the division between this room and the sitting room. cast iron bath and WC there is a wash basin in the bedroom. On this side of the cottage is the second bedroom with windows at either end and a ceiling which rises into the apex of the roof. It has exposed wall and ceiling timbers. A second staircase leads to two connecting bedrooms. Both have ceilings rising into the apex of the roof and also a wealth of exposed beams. The adjoining barn is timber built and has huge potential for development, subject to necessary planning permission. Within the barn is a lined enclosed study area with fitted shelving and an electricity supply. Also within the barn is a garage, a workroom and a store. The gardens are a special feature. The main garden area is predominantly lawned and there are various flowerbeds containing a variety of mature and colourful plants, shrubs and bushes.
