Read the text: My best friend.

I'm a very sociable person. I have many friends , but the one is Jackie. Jackie is my best friend. I met her at primary school. I like Jackie because she’s funny and she

makes me laugh. She’s very kind, too, and she’s always there when I need her. My friend and I spend a lot of time together, playing computer games, watching video-films or listening to music. We can talk about or even discuss all sorts of things that interest us: sport, school life , films, books.

We often go out together. Jackie and I both like jazz and so we often go to record shops. She’s also a football fan. I can’t understand this because I don’t like football.

Now decide if these statements are true or false:

1. I met Jackie at primary school.

2. I don’t have many friends.

3. She is funny.

4. We like to talk about books, sport, school life.

5. We play the piano.

6. We don’t spend a lot of time together.

7. We go to record shops.

8. We are football fans.

9. Jackie is a football fan.

10. Jackie is modest and neat.
