Christopher Wren Offices HaveMovedPerhaps youve noticed the increased activity in

the Discovery Building As a result of employees being relocated from the

Alumni House the Christopher Wren offices have moved We are now located

on the left side of the building in rooms 111 112 and work station 143F All

telephone numbers remain the same

Last month we said goodbye to long-time

employee Sarah Kueser who accepted a full-time

position with WampM Advancement She is now the

Assistant Director Gift Acceptance and Special

Projects We will miss her but wish her the best in

her new job and sincerely thank her for many

years of service to CWA

Changes to Town and Gown

Some unexpected speaker cancellations resulted in new programs for Town

and Gown Please note the following updates

April 5 Middle Eastern Music Ensemble will perform Directed by Anne

Rasmussen of WampM music department

April 19 VIMS faculty member Chris Hein will speak about the barrier islands

Special Event Trip to CapeCharles on April 7Take a day trip to the Eastern Shore with Historian

John Quarstein who will lead a walking tour of Fishermans Island Cape

Mid-Semester AV Training is March 1

The mid-semester AV training will be Thursday March 1 at 10 am in the

Campus Center Little Theatre This presentation is for class assistants and

instructors who need familiarization with the audiovisual equipment in the

classrooms

Did You Know

Did you know CWA is a volunteer-run organization Except for five paid staff

positions Christopher Wren operates with volunteer labor The instructors and

board of directors donate their time as do all committee members Dozens of

hosts and class assistants contribute to helping courses run smoothly each

semester Thanks to their generous efforts our fine organization continues to

provide adults of all ages with opportunities for learning and enrichment If

youre interested in volunteering please call the CWA office 221-1506

School League Scholastic Bowl This year Jamestown High School was the

Scholastic Bowl Champion for Group 4

Locating Edgeworth ParkWe recently began scheduling classes in Edgeworth Park which is a senior

living facility in New Town The address is 5501 Discovery Park Blvd If you

attend courses there please park on the street or behind the building and

leave the spaces in front of the building open
