LiteReader® Vehicle Changeable Message Sign (VCMS) Sign/Mount Option Guide

Below is a description of the three mount options available for the LiteReader VCMS Products. The following LiteReader VCMS Retail Price Catalog lists a price for each option for all sign models. □ Option 1: Sign with Exo-Frame (Sign Only) This package includes the Sign, Peripherals and Exo-Frame. Customers who choose this option typically mount the sign in a stationary position. The Exo-Frame has an attachment point for mounting the message board. □ Option 2: Sign with Low Profile Upper Mount This option includes the Sign, Peripherals and Low Profile Upper Mount. The Low Profile Upper Mount is designed to keep the sign at a low profile when in a stowed (down) position. The mount includes a 12 volt linear actuator which moves the sign from stowed (down) to a display (up) position. Customers who choose this option typically install the sign to a headache rack, reinforced box body roof or striping truck. □ Option 3: Sign with Full Mount This option includes the Sign, Peripherals, and Full Mount. The Full Mount is comprised of the Low Profile Upper Mount and Lower Mount. The Lower Mount is a bracket that attaches to the Low Profile Upper Mount and gives extra height to the sign when installed on a vehicle. The Full Mount allows the customer to install the sign on a pickup or flatbed truck. A LiteReader® LED Changeable Message Sign can be purchased with one of the following mount configurations

□ Mount Option 1: LiteReader® Sign with Exo-Frame (Sign Only)

This option includes the LiteReader® LED changeable message sign, Keypad Controller, Power and Communication Cables and Exo-Frame. Customers who choose this option will mount the sign in a stationary position. The Exo-Frame has an attachment point for mounting the message board.

□ Mount Option 2: LiteReader® Sign with Low Profile Upper Mount

This option includes the LiteReader® LED changeable message sign, Keypad Controller, Power and Communication Cables and Low Profile Upper Mount. The Low Profile Upper Mount is designed to keep the sign at a low profile when it is in a stowed (down) position. The mount includes a 12 volt linear actuator which moves the sign from stowed (down) to a display (up) position. Customers who choose this option install the sign to a headache rack, reinforced box body roof or striping truck.

□ Mount Option 3: LiteReader® Sign with Full Mount

This option includes the LiteReader® LED changeable message sign, Keypad Controller, Power and Communication Cables and Full Mount. The Full Mount is comprised of the Low Profile Upper Mount and Lower Mount. The Lower Mount is a bracket attaching the Low Profile Upper Mount to the bed of a pickup or flatbed truck. The Lower Mount gives height to the sign, so it is position 7’ from the ground to the bottom of the sign, when the sign is in the display position.

Actuator

12 Volt, 12 inch Linear Actuator rated 1,200 pounds dy-namic load / 3000 static load. The Actuator is equipped with a ratcheting clutch.

The Actuator Control Box starts and auto stops the movement of the sign to a display or stow posi-tion. LED indicator lights inform the operator of sign movement and position.

One Year

LiteSys® Incorporated warrants its LiteReader® sign products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of one year from the date product is received by the original user-purchaser.

LiteSys® Inc. obligation is limited to repairing or replacing, as LiteSys® Inc. may elect, any part or parts or such product which LiteSys® Inc. examination discloses to be defec-tive in material and/or workmanship.

LiteSys® Inc. will provide warranty for any unit, which is delivered, transportation pre-paid to LiteSys® Inc. factory for examination and such examination reveals a defect in material and/or workmanship.

This warranty does not extend to any unit, which has been subjected to misuse due to vandalism, common negligence, accident, or not operated in accordance with LiteSys® Inc. instructions or units which have been repaired or altered by anyone else other than LiteSys® Inc. Subject to pre-approval from an authorized employee of LiteSys® Inc. a qualified shop / service provider may perform some of these warranty repairs.

This limited warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warrants expressed or implied, in-cluding any implied warranty of merchantability, and no representative or person is au-thorized to assume for LiteSys® Inc. any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.
