Select the relevant node in standard hierarchy by clicking on it.

To insert "profit center group" or "profit center", click on "Create New" icon.

Profit center group summarizes objects created with master data maintenance. This term is also the nameof a node in hierarchically structured groups. The group name must be unique in a class and contains aspecified Maximum_length. The groups are used to make work easier. Group names let you edit togeth erobjects of the same type within Controlling.

A profit center is a management-oriented organizational unit used for internal controlling purposes.Dividing your company up into profit centers allows you to analyze areas of responsibility and to delegateresponsibility to decentralized units, thus treating them as "companies within the company". Press F4 tosee and select possible values. Always use controlling "1100" to search for profit center.
