United Way of Waco-McLennan County is focused on community-based and community-led solutions. What we do is simple and critical at the same time. In partnership with our community, we identify the most vital needs and work alongside each other to eliminate barriers to a good quality of life for all residents of McLennan County.

YOUR UNITED WAY

United Way raises, stewards, and invests funds to help strengthen the cornerstones of quality of life for education, health, financial stability, and safety net services. Every dollar matters and makes a difference. Each year, donors like you contribute $10 to $10,000 to help our community thrive. We prioritize each investment to create lasting change.

YOUR INVESTMENTS

This year, $1.2 million of the community’s dollars were invested in high-impact programs with the capacity and the purpose to change lives, not just for a day but for the long term.

YOU ARE THE LIFE CHANGERS

Children are born healthier and enter school ready to learn. Young students persist in school and parents are actively engaged in their ability to excel. Individuals have access to preventive and mental health supports, families are able to be financially resilient and secure, and those in need have the support to move beyond crisis to stability.

A ROBUST AND COMMUNITY-CENTRIC PROCESSUnited Way funding decisions are evaluated by a diverse cross sector of community member-donors like you, issue experts, community leaders and people who have benefited from the programs we fund.

stronger community, and I believe in the importance of this work. I invite you to

join me and Live United. I heartily encourage you to support our work.”
