reCeive CertiFiCation

Government Performance Management CertificationMany government managers are now opting to receive a formal Government Performance Management Certification. To address this need, the Institute offers a Certificate in Government Performance Management. Completing a certification program is easy. Just attend the three “core” performance management courses and an additional three “elective” courses based on the topics that meet your agency’s unique needs. The skills you acquire will then be used to complete a “demonstration project” on a particular issue that you and our department are facing, which will then be evaluated by an expert member of our staff.

Benefits of Certification:Advance Your CareerMany government managers are now required to receive formal certification. With over 10,000 government managers attending more that 300 publicly-offered programs annually, The Performance Institute is the leader in providing training to government. One of the more popular vehicles for accessing the Institute’s performance management education has been on-site delivery of training.

Tailored Programs To Fit Your Unique NeedsThe Performance Institute will customize training courses to fit your agency’s specific needs. Single courses can be offered, or an entire package of specialized courses. Create a customized Performance Management training program to meet your agency’s specific goals and jump start major management initiatives within your programs.

Draw From Your Own Program ChallengesInstructors will examine agency programs for specific examples to use during each training course. Interactive exercises can employ an actual project or scenario from within the agency.

Integrate With Other InitiativesTraining can be the perfect complement to other initiatives being managed by the agency. By aligning training with management policies, change management is bolstered.

Improve the Impact Of TrainingBy customizing your training and aligning the curriculum of each session to the specific needs of the agency, the learning outcomes are dramatically enhanced.

Maximize Your Training DollarsIn-house training is far more economical than per-person training courses. Moreover, by bringing training to your location, travel expenses are virtually eliminated.

For more information about in-house training options available to you, please contact Blake Zach at 703-894-0481 or email him at [email protected].
