THE BEE

I brought in a real bee for the children to observe and to provide them with the ability to have a hands on experience with what I was teaching.

STAGES OF A BEE PUZZLE

I created this puzzle to have the children develop the understanding of the stages of the bee. Because the children were so young I made the puzzle self-correcting, therefor enforcing the correct answers and providing consistency.

HONEY BAR CHART

For this activity the children were able to sample two different types of honey. They then decided which honey they liked best and put their bar on the graph.
