Our Achen’s Message …

Dearly Beloved in Christ,

The last quarter of the current year, I hope God willing be immensely engaged with spiritual,

interactive involvements of various age groups and fellowship groups. The richness of engagements

will reflect elegantly for they are focused on variety of activities. Parish Day, Convention, VBS, The

Youth Week, Mission Week, Sunday School Day, Sunday School Camp, Christmas Carol Service,

Watch Night Service and New Year Service will be the main events of the quarter. All these

engagements are assigned for the spiritual nurturing of the Parishioners.

How do we understand spirituality? How do these engagements help us for spiritual nurturing?

Spirituality is nothing but being with the Supreme Being. The nearness to God always keeps the Devil

away. The Devil is the personification of all evils. The evils include all seductive and malicious

thoughts and actions. These evils include all greedy, addictive, sexual, violent activities. The

proximity to God naturally entices people to love others through benevolent, selfless and lust less

actions. The nearness to God could be maintained through personal devotion, prayers, worships and

scripture reading and so on.

We need a spirituality of understating, co-existence, coherence and co-operation. The need for

understanding God as the creator of the whole multiverse and respecting the creator, associating with

and respecting the creatures are the essential elements of the spirituality of understanding. Almighty

God had created the whole creation -visible and invisible- and our mutual co-existence without

annihilating the living and the non-living with one another are the sublime spirituality which God

expects. The spirituality of coherence demands us to live in this world as an inevitable entity as part

and parcel of the entire creation and there is no full-fledged existence without mutual respect.

The spirituality of co-operation is always discretionary. We cannot co-operate with evil doers and evil

structures. Our co-operation always should be with positively like-minded people only. That will

bring progress and blessings to the community at large.

The Executive Committee decided to implement the decisions of the General Body to raise funds for

Cemetery, Vehicle, Compound wall and funds for Sangareddy Mission and Santhimandiram. It is our

great responsibility to keep our church clean, tidy and up-to-date. All necessary measures should be

taken with full co-operation to find it done. We need to maintain and sustain a creatively disciplined

decorum in the sanctuary. Instead of being passive in the church we all should be active partakers in all

the activities.

Let the Advent season be an epoch making occasion with novel thoughts and its serene

implementation.

May God Almighty bless you all abundantly.
