To travel is to live.... For people with a mobility problem,however, it has till now been difficult to enjoy holidays,visits to friends and family as well as business travel,because very few buildings are constructed in such a wayas to allow wheelchair users access through standard bath-room- & toilet doors.

This has led to humiliating situations with commo-de chairs being used in corridors, holidays confined toaccessible hotels, etc.

More importantly, many have given up going onholiday and on family visits altogether in order to avoidtrouble and embarrassing situations in connection withtheir personal hygiene.

Chameleon is the first Shower-& Commode Chairdeveloped specifically for travelling. The fact that itcomes with its own suitcase makes it the perfect travelcompanion.

Passing through a standard-width toilet doorWith its maximum width of just 54 cm (21”), Chameleoneasily passes through a standard-width toilet door. Theheight of the seat can be adjusted to suit the needs of theuser as well as the height of the toilet bowl at the desti-nation. It is also suited for showering.

Travel lightChameleon was developed to meet wheelchair users’need for having just one chair, which is equally suited foruse at home and “on the road”. It is therefore easy to dis-mantle without tools and pack into its own suitcase. Thechair and the suitcase - conform with the maximum mea-surements for cabin luggage on commercial aircraft andweigh no more than 9,9 kg (21,8 lb.).

Discreet and flexibleChameleon is designed as a modular system, allowing theuser to adapt to changing needs; from a shower & com-mode chair to a lightweight transport chair. Furthermore,for reasons of discretion it was deliberately designed insuch a way that the padded seat makes it look like otherlightweight chairs. Like this, nobody will suspect that thechair can also be used for the personal hygiene.

For private users as well as nursing homesChameleon is ideal both for the busy wheelchair user,who often travels privately and on business, as well as fornursing homes, where the residents need access to a flex-ible solution to the problems connected to the personalhygiene when visiting their family or going on vacation.
