WHY WORK WITH YOUR LOCAL
CHAMBER
Relationships Being part of a chamber allows you to create relationships. The social and emotional return you get from the Chamber builds meaningful, lasting relationships. You have the opportunity to interact at our events with all types of people.
Visibility Being in front of people face to face sells your business. Being a member allows your business to spend time with potential customers. You will be the top of a person's mind when they or someone they know is looking for a product or service.
Promotion Chambers offer a wide-range of advertising options and sponsorship packages. A business can sponsor entire
programs or events through a chamber. Beyond the paid advertising options, chambers also have ways to provide additional business promotion for free through monthly and annual awards, social media, regular newsletters and even printed materials.
Ongoing Training & Education For companies that do not have a large training budget, getting to national conferences or bringing in experts is out of the question. Chambers provide an inexpensive way to bridge the gap between no training and topic-expert training.

SEEKING SUPPORT
The Mosinee High School Concert Choir has been selected to be a feature guest ensemble at Carnegie Hall
on March 23, 2019! The students and their director, Carla Dul have been hard at work preparing to perform on the world's most famous stage in just a few weeks. They will also be a feature choir in a mass ensemble under the direction of Dr. David Thye, performing with
other high school and college choirs from throughout the United States. The high school students are still hard at work raising funds for this trip, and are seeking some financial assistance. If you are interested in offering the choir some much needed financial support. Please contact Carla Dul at [email protected].
CITY OF MOSINEE NEWS
At the January 14, 2019 meeting, the City’s Common Council approved a proposal from Core Distinction Group, LLC of Appleton, Wisconsin to conduct a feasibility study for the potential construction of a new hotel within the I-39 interchange district. The City has invited representatives of the Mosinee Chamber to participate in the community interviews (with the consultant) that are an important component of the hotel feasibility study. When completed, the City will provide the feasibility study results to potential hotel developers, owners, lodging management companies and identified
hotel brands. The City has recently been in contact with two Midwest-based hotel franchises that have both indicated a genuine interest in constructing a new hotel in Mosinee based on the results of the necessary feasibility
study. If you have any questions or would like additional information pertaining to the City of Mosinee’s current economic development activities, please contact Mosinee City Administrator Jeff Gates at 715.693.2275 or at [email protected].
