We hope you were able to attend Stem night. What a great night, it was truly amazing. A special thank you to all of those involved in making it happen. As you read this newsletter, our staff appreciation week is already underway. Please join us in celebrating our fabulous teachers and staff at Challenger, they are all awesome! We are so fortunate to have a strong sense of community at Challenger. Let’s show our thanks! The “Favorite things” list can be found on the PTA website if you need some ideas. The Art walk is fast approaching coming up on May 19 th . Hope you can come and see Challenger art at its finest. A few more volunteers are still needed for this event, sign up on the PTA website if you are interested. Finally, our last general meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday May 16 th at 7:00 PM in the library. We will be doing some initial planning for next year. It will be fun, informative, and everyone is welcome. Please join us! Spring 2017 Teacher Grant Recipients
Congratulations to all the recipients of the Spring 2017 round of Teacher Grants. Teacher grants were awarded for so many wonderful things that will improve the quality of our children’s education ranging from new books for both the library and individual classrooms to additional teaching materials to flexible seating options for students to games and activities to give the kids something to do during indoor recess. It was a great bunch of applications and we were happy to get to award so many wonderful grants!
