THE SNOWLEOPARD CHALLENGE
Produced by Leopard Sports Ltd (Event Management Department)
The Snowleopard My name is Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong, though many know me
as the ‘Snowleopard’ of Ghana. I was born in Glasgow and now represent Ghana as a ski racer. Skiing has not only given me an opportunity to enjoy sport, but has become a vehicle through which I can express my views through various media, as well as positively impact on the lives of people I meet. The Snowleopard Challenge has become a vehicle to change peoples lives, and do some good with the opportunities granted me. I thus hope you will join me and the current sponsors of the challenge in making a difference to lots of underprivileged kids, market your brand and save a beautiful creature ‘The Snowleopard – ‘Uncia Uncia

Event Brief COMPETITION/EVENT: The challenge is a dual slalom race /
freestyle event (both skiers and boarders) held in the SNO!zone Xscape Milton Keynes venue (www.xscape.co.uk) in UK. Racers and freestylers are given the chance to compete seriously, as well as have some fun to win prizes at stake. The race is held first, then there is a break with a catwalk show of some major brands in the ski and leisure industry, before the freestyle event is held. While the competition is in progress, the exhibition centre is open to customers.
COMMUNITY: Apart from the above, competitors, sponsors and partner companies (local council etc) are also challenged to help give local youth from deprived areas an opportunity to try skiing or snowboarding at no personal cost. This is aimed at discovering new talents and increasing sports participation.

Event Brief (Continued) CHARITY: The event will also challenge competitors, sponsors
and partner businesses to help raise funds for The Snowleopard Conservation Trust, to help with their efforts in trying to save the endangered Snowleopard species.
PRIZES: Prizes are mainly products from sponsors, which enable deserving racers to carry on pursuing their chosen sport.
VENUE: This year we have confirmed the expansion of the challenge with the addition of the freestyle event.
