CHAINLESS LEAD OXIDE MILL

Based on Sovema’s long-term experience in the supply of lead oxide production systems, this innovative piece of equipment features compact design with high performance. The ball mill is available in three versions with different capacities: up to 30 t/day, 24 t/day, and 14 t/day.

MILLMASTER CONTROL SYSTEMBased on a PLC unit, the mill’s control system has been developed to control the equipment operating conditions within a minimum variation range, thus ensuring constant oxide quality and operation safety conditions.

BAGHOUSE FILTERFor collection of the lead oxide powder and for cleaning the exhaust air. The filtering surface is composed of filtering bags made of special high temperature-resistant fabric, arranged vertically with access from the top for replacement. The fil-tering bags are automatically cleaned by a counter-flow PULSE-JET CLEANING SYSTEM.

INNOVATIVE DRIVING SYSTEMThe main drive motor with gearbox is directly coupled with the drum (chainless system). Thanks to this direct coupling and the related frequency control system, smooth starts and RPM management are ensured.

LUBRICATION AND COOLING SYSTEMA completely automatic lubrication and cooling system is provided: - External water cooling system with electro-valves,

whose operation is checked by an independent system.- Additional emergency cooling system.- Lubrication and cooling system for the main bearings

of the drum.- Cooling system for the gearbox oil.

VIBRATING SILO BOTTOM PARTThe bottom part of the lead cylinders silo is specifical-ly designed to feed the lead cylinders automatically at scheduled intervals to the ball mill through a vibration.

ROTATING DRUMThis is the main component of the ball mill, performing oxide production.Thanks to accurate speed control, a fast warm-up and the elimination of black oxide output are ensured.
