• Require electric utilities to provide at least 25% of their annual retail sales of electricity from renewable energy sources, which are wind , solar, biomass, and hydropower, by 2025.
• Limit to not more than 1% per year electric utility rate increases charged to consumers only to achieve compliance with the renewable energy standard.
• Allow annual extensions of the deadline to meet the 25% standard in order to prevent rate increases over the 1% limit.
• Require the legislature to enact additional laws to encourage the use of Michigan made equipment and employment of Michigan residents.

Ambulance Services
This proposal will permit the County to levy up to .30 mills for the purpose of providing funds to support ambulance services within the county in the years 2012-2015, inclusive. COUNTY PROPOSALS
Ambulance Services
This proposal will permit the County to levy up to .30 mills for the purpose of providing funds to support ambulance services within the county in the years 2012-2015, inclusive. Shall the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on the amount of ad valorem taxes which may be levied by the County of Cheboygan , State of Michigan, against taxable property in the County be increased by up to .30 mills ( $.30 per $1 ,000 of taxable value ) for a period of four (4) years, 2012 through 2015, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds to support ambulance services within the county, and shall the Cheboygan County Board of Commissioners be authorized to levy such millage for this purpose? If approved in its entirety, this millage would raise an estimated $393,930 for Cheboygan County in 2012.
On the Ambulance Millage Proposal YES received the largest number of notes and it is declared that said Proposition PASSED.
