cmCFP Certification ProgramFinancial Planners are increasingly called on to have the Certified Financial Planner certification offered by Financial Planning Standards Board of India (FPSBI). The program is technical in nature and deals with all aspects of Personal Financial advisory from Taxation to Risk analysis and more.

Eligibility:

• The candidate must be a 10+2 but the certificate is awarded on completion of graduation from a recognized college/ University. • Work experience is not mandatory at the time of registration but 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial sector is required to get the final certification.• To become a CFP one has to clear all the examinations.• The minimum time which one can finish this course is between 2 and 5 months.• To obtain CFP certification one should satisfy 4 E’s of education, examination, experience and ethics.• FPSB India allows the candidate a total of 7 years to complete the program.

Exam Structure

• There is no exam for module 1 the subject content is embedded in other exams.

• All exams are conducted online by NSE and these exams are conducted on daily basic.

• Exams are based on Multiple Choice Questions format.

• FPSB India awards a certification of Associate Financial Planner (AFP) on passing every examination.

• On clearing the final examination you will be awarded the CFP title which encompasses all the other AFP titles.

• There is a 2 month lock in period after registration during which candidate cannot take up exams. Once the lock in is over he can take the exams on any day of his choice in any order.
