Surveillance and Reassessment
Partial Assessment Applicant shall demonstrate evidences that their competence has been maintained and updated - awareness and understanding of all new IEC Standards and
changes to IEC standards relevant to their scope of certification- work record that demonstrate person’s ability to understand and
apply the current editions of all relevant standards.
Full AssessmentApplicant may not have been involved in relevant practical application of activities under their Units of Competence over 5 years period.
Reassessment
An IECEx CoPC may be suspended or cancelled due to the following:
• non payment of outstanding fees• failure to comply with the re-certification requirements• the Certificate or PCAR has been issued in error• the holder requests cancellation• it is used in a misleading way, or• Ex Competent Person no longer complies with the
IECEx requirements• Non compliance against SIRIM QAS requirements
Suspension or Cancellation
Lodge an appeal in the first instance with ExCB for disagreement with decision of
• Refusal for issuance of IECEx PCAR or IECEx CoPC
• Suspension IECEx CoPC• Cancellation of IECEx CoPC
