Courtney LuxCourtney is the Children’s Music Assistant at Green Acres Baptist Church where she writes and implements preschool lesson plans, communicates with volunteers, and choreographs preschool and elementary programs. Melissa McKenzieMelissa is the FCS Child Guidance/Human Resources Practicum Teacher and Preschool Director for Cypress Ranch Preschool. She holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood from Stephen F. Austin University. She is also a member of the Texas Trainer Registry and is currently responsible for writing the faith-based curriculum for Nabor House Centers in Houston, TX. Kathy NorthcuttKathy is a Reading and Language Arts Consultant and Professional Development Consultant for Heinemann Professional Development. She has also worked for the Longview and the White Oak Independent School Districts as a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader. She has a Ph.D. in Reading Education from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Tyler. Marie RuizFor 9 years, Marie served as the Director of the Child Development Center at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, TX. Ken WarrenSince, 2001, Ken has served as the Senior Associate Pastor at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas.
