• Question: Is certification associated with lower work-injury rates?

• Findings: 12 % lower STD, LTD & Fatalities

17 % lower serious injury rate

• COR program participation is associated with lower injury rates.

COR Cycle

• Once a company achieves COR, it is valid for three years:

– Year One: IHSA auditor validates that the company/workplace meets the COR standard

– Year Two/Three: Company completes and submits a COR self-audit to validate that they continue to meet the standard

– Year Four: IHSA auditor validates that the company/workplace meets the COR standard
