Vintage Packaging

Looking at vintage cereal packages with the hope ofbeing able to screen print some packaging that would hang in the exhibition. Vintage cereal packaging was alot more simple than modern day cereal packages which is something I might explore with this project.

Vintage packaging has a screen print like texture which I woul like to recreate. I would like to screen print some of the iconic images on to posters which could be exhibited at my exhibition.

Chocolate will engage your senses and reveal facets of this sump-tuous sweet that youʼve never thought about before. Youʼll explore the plant, the products, and the culture of chocolate through the lenses of science, history, and popular culture.

Chocolate and its national tour were developed by The Field Museum, Chicago. This project was supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation.

Food exhibitions have been done before such as this Chocolate exhbition that teaches people about how chocolate is made and the history of it. I think this would also work with cereal giving people to taste the large variety of cereal while learning abit about the contents of each.
