ABRS is a £13m turnover multi sales team business, where great sales talent thrive and our customer base continues to grow. We are a boutique recruitment and executive search business across Future Media, Technology, Marketing and Creative. We provide recruitment solutions to a very broad spectrum of businesses from start-ups and medium sized enterprise through to well-known corporations - covering both permanent and contract appointments across the UK and beyond. Our impressive client list includes, BSkyB, Hailo, Kano, Masabi, Amazon, NBC, FT.com, Just Eat, Sophos, InterContinental Hotels Group, Livedrive, British Gas to name a few. Resigning, with no company to go to, selling my dream car to fund the business, starting from scratch with no customers, no salary, no billings, no database and nothing other than ideas, a computer, clear desk and a phone. In 1999 at the age of 26 that's the risk I took to set up ABRS. I refused to borrow money from anyone, determined to build the foundations of a great business, with a strong culture, good values and fantastic customers. Fifteen years on and we now own our head office building in Henley-on-Thames, have never had an overdraft, we've made a profit every year, our top sales people do very well and our fantastic customers from 1999 still work with us today. Of course we have more computers, lots of phones, great systems, busy desks and many more ideas. In line with our business strategy we are looking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer. You will have a strong business to business services background, used to working in a highly competitive customer sales and service driven business. Proven sales management, commercial leadership and company directorial responsibilities will be essential. Key requirements include: Proven capability to deliver leadership with a mentoring management style. Leader of a management team and the board process. Budget focussed individual. Expertise in optimising and improving business operational procedures in line with sales growth. Strategy development to facilitate continued growth to include potential acquisitions and funding plans. Natural leader of a sales culture to exceed targets. Huge emphasis on detail and quality procedures value add, time conscience and deadline critical. Key budget holder, with emphasis on bottom line performance. Customer experience focussed. MBA or Business School Qualified would be an advantage. As part of the company Board and reporting to Andrew Bailey - Founder, you will manage all areas of the business across sales, marketing, finance and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Managing Director/CEO to shape the next phase of growth for ABRS.
