    Call for Papers

    CENWOR organized thirteen biennial national conventions starting in 1989 to provide an opportunity for researchers on women's issues to present papers and to discuss empirical experiences. Some of the papers presented on previous occasions have been published subsequently.

    The Fourteenth National Convention will be held in November 2014 at Sri Lanka Foundation and CENWOR. We cordially invite you to present results of your research, evaluation or action programmes at the Convention. Presentations are welcome in any language.

  • Submission of guidelines Initially, by 7th September 2014 an abstract of no more than 250 words has to be forwarded by email as an attachment to The Coordinator: [email protected]

    Authors of selected abstracts will be informed by email by 21st September 2014 and full papers have to be submitted by 21st October 2014. Submissions should be unpublished original work.

    Submission format Abstract

    The abstract should be between 200 and 250 words; 1.5 line spacing; references and footnotes should not be included.

    It should give a concise overview of the paper. The abstract should include the objectives of the paper, scope, major issues addressed and a concluding statement.

    Please use Calibri point 11 for English; FM Abaya point 11 for Sinhala and Bhamini point 11 for Tamil and 1.5 line spacing.

    Paper The length of the paper should be between 3500 to 7000 words (inclusive of

    All abstracts and papers will be peer reviewed.

    Abstracts and papers must be submitted as MS Word via email. The name of the file should be your Name_ Institution Affiliation The subject of the email should be: Fourteenth National Convention on Womens
