Dear Sir / Madam,
Anna University in association with MHRD approved e-learning centre in Delhi jointly
organizing one day national seminar on “e-Learning and MOOCs in Higher Education” on
14th September 2019 at Vivekananda Auditorium, College of Engineering Guindy,
Anna University Chennai-600025. As per the MHRD norms Institute can allow up to 20% of
the total courses being offered in a particular program in a semester through the online
learning courses provided through SWAYAM platform. Participation in the above seminar will
be a great opportunity to the faculty members to know more about MOOCs and SWAYAM
platform in addition to preparation of e-content for the MOOCs.
In this connection the staff members are requested to register through
http://ctdt.annauniv.edu/elearning/ as per the details given in the attached brochure on or
before 06th September 2019.

ABOUT PMMMNMTT
Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National
Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) is a
Scheme launched by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India. The aim of the
scheme to improve the quality of school and higher
education by addressing comprehensively all issues
related to teachers, teaching, teacher preparation,
professional development, curriculum design, designing
and developing assessment & evaluation methodology,
research in pedagogy and developing effective pedagogy.
Many centres such as TLC, FDC, School of Education,
etc. have been opened throughout the country.
ABOUT GAD-TLC of MHRD (www.tlckhalsa.in)
Guru Angad Dev Teaching Learning Centre
(GAD-TLC) was inaugurated on 1st July 2016 by Smt.
Smriti Zubin Irani. This a centre of MHRD and is located
at SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi. GAD-TLC
has been created under the Pandit Madan Mohan
Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching
(PMMMNMTT) of the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD), Govt. of India which addresses
comprehensively all issues related to teachers, teaching,
teacher preparation and professional development and
thus helps in the preparation of modern age ICT savvy
teachers. This centre empowers through various basic
and advanced workshops for teachers in pedagogy
(virtual & blended) and ICT skills. MHRD has also
selected GAD-TLC as the National Resource Centre
(NRC) of Chemistry in 2018.
ABOUT ANNA UNIVERSITY

ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION CRITERIA
Faculty members from University campus,
Constituent Colleges and Affiliated colleges.
No registration fee for participation.
No TA / DA will be provided.
Lunch, conference kit and Participation certificate
will be provided.
Participants will be selected on first come; first
serve basis, since the number of participants is
limited and the selected participant will be
intimated through e-mail.
REGISTRATION
Registration is only through online in the CTDT
website. (http://ctdt.annauniv.edu/elearning)
The hardcopy of the generated registration form
should be duly signed by the applicant and
attested by the HOD / Director / Dean / Principal of
the respective Department or Institution
Scanned copy / Hard copy of the registration form
should be submitted to the CTDT office on or
before 06th September 2019.
