Rapid growth in organized retail, e-commerce, Direct Port Delivery (DPD), containerization, etc. is witnessed currently. Organized approaches towards transport and logistics activities fueled by the emergent global third-party logistics (3PL) players, the demand for trained employees with specific skill sets is expected to rise more than ever. On the other hand, with the growth in E-commerce, last mile delivery initiatives and start-ups in Logistics have become imperative. Further, Covid-19 fuels this growth of more innovative initiatives in technology enabled logistics services like Crowd Logistics and Aggregation start-ups opening the scope for future startups.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) report states that, transportation, warehousing, and packaging related logistics sector currently employs over 16.74 million employees and by the year 2022 India will require around 28.4 million in workforce. The projected growth is due to a thrust on marquee projects — dedicated freight corridors, Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC), Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) container terminal, and inland waterways.

This programme off ers participants to gain contemporary knowledge and develop skills for a bright career in logistics industry. The curriculum combines the best of management concepts and principles in relevance to logistics and enables students to develop specifi c skill sets to excel in a diverse logistics sector. The programme is off ered in collaboration with industry partner Kerry Indev Logistics, a big name in the Logistics Sector.

This PG programme is a well structured one comprising application-intensive (three) terms of course work followed by a three-month industrial internship, i.e., a 15-month curriculum equating to 81 credits developed and supported by an eminent Advisory board which includes renowned industrial leaders, logistics professionals and academicians.

due to covid-19, social distancing will be followed inside the campus and if required virtual online classes will be scheduled when lockdown is in force. in view of this, it is necessary that all students who enrolled for the courses must have good internet connectivity at home with connected devices like laptop or smart phones.

Library Deposit Rs. 5,000This refundable deposit will be payable along with the First Term Fees. The same will be refunded to the student by cheque while the student graduates or leaves from the Institute, after verifying that there are no outstanding dues.
