Hi my name is Sam Hadzic and I'm currently completing my Diploma in Graphic design. always strive to make each project i work on my best and try to offer something that is unique, and exciting and visually appealling.

My concept for the Website was to make it friendly and inviting by limiting and simplifying the text to the essentials while providing quick links to the key sections. I’ve chosen a colour scheme that reflects classic mixed withmodern.I feel this colour scheme is fresh, simple and easy to read.

Thank you for giving me opportunity to re-design your website,I look forward to your thoughts, and feedback on these designs.

Outline

Your Competion

These are some of the competitorswebsites out there that work quiet well. They work well because they used simple and inovative colour schemes, this helps to keep the type easy to read and attractive on the eye.

These websites have clear and easy to use nevigation systems. The navigation system is easy to read and well balanced with the colour scheme this contributes to the success of the website.

Your CompetionHere’s a couple of bad examples. They both suffer from an ugly colour scheme. Little thought, it seems, has been given to typographic layout. Both sites appear more like one long scroll of text rather than friendly, digestible pages.

The websites are very unballanced and have to many outlines, borders, and bright colours. While they are very simple websites there are no design elements behind the website and it looks like it has all just been droped on the screen.

Old LogoHere’s the current logo being used for the Central TAFE art gallery.

The current logo has awfull spacing making it imposible to read and know where one word beings and ends. Also the colour skeem used by Central TAFE art gallery at the moment is where boring and bland.

The orange does not work well wit the maroon red.The current type used for the logo is boring and it has know feeling of weight and importance.

Logo Design

Here’s the proposed new logo, in polite Maron and shade of grey. Curves are friendly, and a nice lower case centruy gothic fon. I wanted to keep the logo very simple and not to busy or clusterd.

I Wanted the text to tell you that the Art Gallery was the main focus of this website and the Central TAFE was more pushed back by using a less confronting colour which made it seem less important but still there.

Your SiteI started off with the logo and from the re-designed logo I sought after a colour palette that would intertwine with not only the logo but that tied in with the website as a whole. I went for a layout that was easy to navigate whether you were used to computers or a novice. But also a layout that could survive the constant changing of the “world wide web”

So over the next few pages you can have a quite in-sight into the specific layout I have created for Central TAFE Art Gallery. Hopefully it suits what you see your product site to look like and is what you are after.
