The Central Processing Unit (C.P.U) basically called brain of computer.

It control and coordinate operations of the components and perform arithmetic and logic operation.

It is generally a microprocessor chip made from semi conducting material.

The Arithmetic Logic Unit or ALU performs Arithmetic and Logical operation and control the speed of those operations. As we might guess, Arithmetic operations are the fundamental operation Addition (+), Subtraction(-), Multiplication (X), and Division (÷).

ARITHMETIC SECTION

Logical operation our comparison that is the ALU compare as two pieces of data to see weather are is Equal to (=), Greater than (>), or Less than (<) the other. The ALU performs millions of calculation and comparison at a very high speed.

LOGICAL SECTION

A control unit (CU) handles all processor control signals. It directs all input and output flow, fetches code for instructions from micro programs and directs other units and models by providing control and timing signals. A (CU) component is considered the processor brain because it issues orders to just about everything and ensures correct instruction execution.
