Rivers :

Serayu River is high volume river with 50-100 m3/sec.The water level is controlled by rain and the rapid becomes more challenging during rainy season, November to April. Like other rivers in tropical area, the water temperature is between 20 – 22C and the air is 25-300 C, So it does not need to use special gear like wet suit. Serayu River has some rapid class III to III+ and during rainy season it has some rapid class IV – IV+ .

Teams :

This event is not only for Indonesian Teams but also International Teams. The Event is held with the help of IRF.

Entry fee

US 300 / team for international participant. Each team consists of max 8 members including transportation from and to the Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport to Banjarnegara City, or Ahmad Yani, Semarang, accommodation, meals, transportation to the river during event.

Rafts and equipment The Rafts are the Indonesian PVC boats whose 390cm length, 185cm width, 52cm tubes, 3 thwarts with foot loops. These rafts are provided by the organizer. Teams are responsible for their own PFD, paddles, paddling clothing, throw bags and any additional paddling accessories they might be required.

T r a n s p o r t a t i o n

For all competitors who arrive by airplane, the organizer will provide transport free of charge from Yogyakarta (Adisucipto Airport) or Semarang (Ahmad Yani Airport) to Banjarnegara (camp). From Yogyakarta or Semarang the

teams use land transportation. It will take 4 hours. Some airlines fly directly to Yogyakarta from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China (Air Asia, Silk Air, Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Value Air, Malaysian Airlines, Batavia Airlines).

Accommodation

Organizer will provide free of charge accommodation for all competitors and registered participants during competition in Banjarnegara (November 27 – December 01, 2013) Central Java-Indonesia. The accommodation provided are home stays & cottages near the river. Sleeping bags, matrasses, mosquito nets will be necessary.

Training Day

For the team who need training before event, the organizer provide equipment, transportation and guide. The cost for this facilities is USD 60 per day.

Meals

The organizer will provide twice Indonesian meals per day for all competitors (breakfast and lunch) and registered participants during the competition starting from November 27 - December 01, 2013.

Branding for teams are allowed on: - Helmet, except in front side - Paddle - Clothing

1. A free visa for a short visit (up to 30 days) is given to 11 countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Macao, Morocco, Peru, Chili, and Vietnam.

2. A Visa on Arrival must be obtained by 63 countries and one special territory. This visa can be obtained as soon as they arrive in Indonesia. These countries include : America, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Finland, Hungary, England, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Norway, France, Poland, Switzerland, New Zealand, Aljazair, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Holland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Fiji, India, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Cambodia, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Egypt, Monaco, Oman, Panama, Portugal, Qatar, China, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Tunisia, Greece and one territory in Taiwan.

3. Travellers granted a Visa on Arrival may enter Indonesia through selected points of entry, including - Airports : Polonia (Medan), Sultan Syarif Kasim – H Pekanbaru), Tabing (Padang), Soekarno Hatta (Jakarta), Adi Sutjipto (Jogjakarta), Juanda (Surabaya), Ngurah Rai (Bali), and Sam Ratulangi (Manado). Seaports: Sekupang Batu Ampar, Nongsa, Marina Teluk Senimba (Batam), Bandar Bintan Telani Lagoi, Bandar Sri Udana Lobarn (Tanjung Uban), Belawan (Belawan), Sibolga (Sibolga), Yos Sudarso (Durnai), Teluk Bayur (Padang), Jayapura (Jayapura), and Seven Harbours.

The official entry requirements for the issuance of a 30 or 7 days day visa-on arrival: a. Passport must be from one of the countries listed above. b. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of

entry into Indonesia. c. Payment of US$10 or US$25 must be paid at the gateway, depending

on the length of visa required. d. Onward or return tickets are compulsory. c. Visitors must enter and exit through one of the airports or seaports

officially approved as an “international gateway” by the Indonesian Immigration department.

4. Visitors from countries excluded from this facility need to obtain the visa from the Indonesian Embassy in their origin country. Visitors staying for 7 days in Indonesia are obliged to pay US$10 per person, while those staying for 8 - 30 days must pay US$25 per person. Departure tax for international destinations is Rp.1.000.000,- per person and Rp.40.000,- per person for domestic destinations
