Bringing business to life
Organising a business event or conference can be a challenging
exercise; we know you want to impress! The expectations of your
clients, colleagues, guests or staff are high, and you are constantly
seeking value for money. The destination, the venue and the format
are important factors to consider and, at the end of the day, you need
the right mix of these to leave a good impression on your clients and/
or colleagues.
Welcome to the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, located
just one hour north of Sydney and one hour south of Newcastle.
It’s here you’ll find a depth of product and experiences that are all
prepared to work with you to make your next business event one
to remember. The Central Coast has long been a highly popular
destination for client retreats, team building days, conferencing and
business events because it’s accessible, out of the busy cities and,
quite simply, a gorgeous destination bursting with water views and
experiences.
Few regional destinations offer the waterfront lifestyle and natural diversity that can be found here.
At the essence of the Central Coast is a world of beautiful coastlines, golden beaches, alluring lakes and pristine national parks. These treasured natural assets combine to provide a stunning backdrop for any event.
Central Coast Tourism, along with all of our tourism operators,
wish you a warm welcome and look forward to working with you
to earn your business. We are confident that your delegates will be
pleasantly surprised with our destination and what it has to offer.

TestimonialsI would like to thank everyone at Ettalong Beach Club for helping to make our National Conference a great success. At every level of the planning and facilitation process the staff were helpful, friendly and engaging, managing to accommodate all of our requests with warmth and professionalism. I would not hesitate to use the club for future conferences or events be it corporate or recreational. I would highly recommend this venue! - OMD
Thank you Bells at Killcare for your assistance with the organisation of last weeks conference event. The group had a first class experience and were delighted to hear Stefano speak. It was fantastic! I look forward to bringing other groups to your fabulous property. - The Events Dept
We hold a 200 person conference over 4 days and the dedicated Crowne Plaza Terrigal meetings planner have always made this seamless for us. The food is great and the staff are fantastic. Although we have dinner in the ballroom each night, our 4th and final dinner is always a big event. The room is transformed into a beautiful banquet and is always a talking point for the delegates afterwards. - Police Association of NSW
Quay West Resort Magenta Shores was superb, with all the facilities in excellent condition and I think the grounds/gardens are a real credit to your team. All the bar/wait staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much of a bother - even asking for a takeaway long black at 6.45am in the morning! And finally the food - please pass my compliments to the chefs - the meals were absolutely outstanding!!! All up a great stay at your facilities and I wouldn’t hesitate to return for a future
visit. - Coca-Cola Amatil
Westpac’s local Business Banking Centre recently hosted an economic breakfast at Mingara Recreation Club. The event was a great success and this is due in no small part to not only the venue and quality breakfast menu but the Events team was fast, professional and made my job as organiser/speaker a breeze. We highly recommend the team and have already made
plans for our next function at the venue. - Westpac Bank
Ultimately, our goal is to make your job of planning and/or booking a conference, meeting or event on
the Central Coast a breeze.

No matter your mode of transport, our warm coastal hospitality will be waiting to greet your delegates.
Green with Envy...The Central Coast and its community are conscious and committed to
preserving its natural beauty and resources. The region’s environmental
initiatives are championed by the two local government bodies, Gosford
City and Wyong Shire Councils. A range of policies and programmes
are implemented throughout the region that focus on the five key
environmental themes: atmosphere, land, water, biodiversity and towards
sustainability.
Green Open Space Audit 28% of the Central Coast region is officially dedicated to the
environment and natural open spaces.
Our crystal clean beaches and shoreline stretch over 85km.
With a vast amount of wide open spaces, it is almost impossible not to
immerse yourself in our natural environment. Enjoy it but assist us in
protecting it for your enjoyment on your return visit.
Sustainable Dining Historically, the Central Coast has been a fertile farming region with
the waterways providing a bounty of lush edible treats. Here on the
Central Coast, many venues consciously choose to serve locally
grown, raised and/or caught produce providing the freshest seasonal
ingredients.
A few of our venues extend their sustainable dining mission through
harvesting their own organic fruit and vegetables, and housing their
own chickens providing free range eggs. These intentional acts
provide guests a win-win scenario as their tastebuds are tantalised
while their carbon footprint is reduced and they are supporting local
suppliers and economy - a fully integrated environmentally friendly
experience.
Environmentally Conscious Venues Local venues prescribe to a range of green practices through energy
efficiency, water conservation, and recycling of waste.
Environmentally purpose built venues take full advantage of a
northerly aspect providing natural light and heating.
Energy efficient lighting is used by almost all venues.
A number of venues have installed solar panels producing their own
renewable energy to heat pools, spas and water.
All venues are conscious of their water consumption and install water
saving devices. Most collect their own rainwater and, where
accessible, venues use bore water to maintain their grounds.
All our venues actively reduce, re-use and recycle wastes and
encourage guests to do the same.
Staff incorporate daily behaviours that reduce our impact on the environment through:
Tip... To reduce your carbon footprint consider group transportation options.
Actively select suppliers who conform to practices that reduce carbon emissions
Reducing, reusing and recycling office waste
Adopting a water conservation attitude
Embracing energy efficient actions
