CB West Advisory Philosophy
CB West advisories will personalize the school experience for all students. The program is
designed to create smaller communities in which each student will have regular contact with a staff member from the first day of sophomore year until graduation day. Advisories will guide each student through the development of his or her Career Plan.
In addition, students will receive guidance and support in study skills, life skills, and career education. Advisories will facilitate the transition
from middle school to high school and help students prepare for life after graduation.
