ABOUT THEINCUBATION CENTER

Center of Innovation, Incubation, Entrepreneurship, and Industry Relations (CIIEIR)

IIT Indore, is an umbrella setup at IIT Indore for fostering innovation,

entrepreneurship and nurturing the start-ups. It administers a business incubator

which provides ‘Start to scale’ support for technology based entrepreneurship and

facilitates the conversion of research activity into entrepreneurial ventures.

VISION & MISSION

We aim to transform knowledge and innovation into the

creation of successful innovative entrepreneurs by

mentoring and developing competitiveness, enhancing links

between industry and students to enable them to develop

emerging technology and be the innovative entrepreneurs.

INCUBATION SUPPORTS

• MoU has been done with FICCI FLO for WomenEntrepreneurship.

• MoU has been done with Ministry of MSME under Design and Incubation

Schemes

• MoU has been signed with Digital Futuristic Angels Network Pvt. Ltd.

• MoU has been signed with NNM Next Gen (CoKaCo) Angels Investor

• MoU has been signed with Inocorn Angels Network Pvt. Ltd.

• CIIEIR, R&D Office procured YNOS Technology platform for innovation,

entrepreneurship, intellectual property, industry linkages and start-ups.

MoUs and Collaborations

• CIIEIR has won three national awards and received grant under DST funded “Innovation and

Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) scheme

• Currently, 18 start-ups are Incubated at CIIEIR, IIT Indore.

• Swaaha Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. (Swaaha) has been awarded as the “Best Start-up

Initiative by Smart Cities” by Economic Times Global Smart City Forum 2020

• 5 innovative Ideas of our faculty members were approved by the Ministry of MSME for funding

of Rs. 90 Lakhs under Incubation scheme

Major Achievements

• Awareness program was conducted in association with MSME DI, Indore on Establishment of

Toy Cluster in Budhni and training was given to various Toy artisans at Nasrullaganj, Sehore.

• Awareness program on Safety and Standards related to Toy was organized in association with

MSME DI Indore for Toy industrialists, manufacturers, and artisans at Indore

• More than 25 webinars have been organized on various topics in innovation and entrepreneurship

• Three proposals have been submitted to Ministry of MSME under Design scheme for possible

funding to provide design expertise to manufacturing MSME sectors
