Celebration of Hindi Diwas Every year, September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas across the country to remember the historic occasion to promote Hindi Language and to save it from getting extinct. Hindi Diwas commemorates the adoption of Hindi language in India. The reason for celebrating this day is being the fact that it was on 14 th September 1949 that the Constituent Assembly of India, adopted Hindi in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India. The Special Days & Staff Association Committee of St. Vincent Pallotti College organizes the Hindi Diwas- on 14 th September every year. In which various competitions are being organized for the students to make them, aware of the Hindi language. It’s an event by which students are tested in their Hindi language and accuracy. Students largely participate in slogan writing competition, poem competition and extempore competition.

CELEBRATION OF FESTIVALS
Celebration of Christmas
College celebrates Christmas with great enthusiasm. The students and staff of the college prepared a special decoration over the
stage. All the staff members and the students lighted a candle to signify the festival. Students presented a special skit for the
occasion. The significance of the event is explained by the Director of the College.

Teachers and students of college celebrate RaasGarba with great enthusiasm. The teachers and students come in traditional attire and
performGarba. This event serves as an agent to strengthen the bonding between teacher and student.
