Using your smartphone, this will be a quick and easy way to give to the General Budget of Grace UMC. Simply dial the number 803-879-4888, type in the word GIVE, skip a space, and then the amount. (ex. GIVE 100) If you’re donating through TTG for the first time, you’ll receive a text containing a link to login to your SecureGive account or to create your account if you don’t already have one. You’ll then be asked to save your default payment information for text giving and will receive an email receipt confirming your donation. The only time that you’ll have to enter login or card information is the first time that you donate through TTG. After your first transaction, your SecureGive account and card information will be recognized automatically and you’ll simply reply “Y” to confirm your transaction. You’ll receive a confirmation text as well as an email receipt. If you ever need to update any account information such as your card, you can simply text the word “update” to be sent a link.

Lord of all, the nations are yours. The poor are your treasured ones— widows, orphans, the aliens you protect. Your justice reigns over all. Forgive us when our ways devour your ways. We don’t mean to cause harm, yet we do. Forgive us when we consume more than our fair share, all the while knowing that our excesses deny the poor the things they need to live. What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness, Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge— Take it to the Lord in prayer; Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer; In His arms He’ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.
