COMMUNITY COLLEGES OF SPOKANE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS 2016A scholarship with the Community Colleges of Spokane can help reduce the cost of financing your education. Every year, the CCS Foundation provides over 200 major scholarships for tuition and books as well as hundreds of smaller awards to help with testing costs, program fees and emergency needs.
The first step to apply for scholarships with the CCS Foundation is to complete our general scholarship application at ccs.academicworks.com. Once completed, you’ll be entered in our general scholarship pool to be considered for those scholarships open to all CCS students. You’ll also be alerted to additional scholarship opportunities which you may qualify for based on the responses you provided. Many of these opportunities require additional information, but have fewer applicants because they have very specific criteria. We encourage you to take the time to apply for all scholarships for which you qualify to increase your chances of receiving an award.
We also suggest that you visit our Foundation website at www.ccs.spokane.edu/foundation/scholarships to learn about additional resources and to sign up for our scholarship newsletter which will alert you when new scholarships become available. Our primary scholarship application period runs from early January until mid-March, but a handful of additional scholarships accept applications throughout the year. If you’re considering enrolling at one of our campuses (Spokane Falls Community College, Spokane Community College, Fairchild AFB Education Center, the Pullman Campus or any of our Rural Centers in Colville, Inchelium, Ione, Newport and Republic), be sure to submit your application to ensure you’re considered for scholarship opportunities.
Below is a list of scholarships offered for the 2016-2017 school year (please note all scholarships are for full-time students only unless otherwise noted).
